And exactly what does that mean. Most women in particular are emotional eaters. You know who you are. I would like to introduce you to the idea of intuitive eating. There is a lot to say for intuitive eating, plenty of studies, made most well known by Steven Hawks and Susan Orbach. I have been doing a bit of research on my own…albeit client by client without a medical lab. Yet I have discovered that as each individual learns to get in tune with their own body (my specialty BTW) they discover exactly what to eat, how much and when. Granted, this may take a little time depending on where you are beginning with your internal inner awareness, but the transformation in all areas of life are, well…quite simply Transformational!

It is possible!! Ok, maybe not THAT thin…but Thin is not really the goal is it? There are so many factors involved, where you live, your bone structure, what YOU need!!! The idea is to FEEL that freedom in your soul AND love the skin you are in!!
The body is an amazing machine and it knows exactly how to serve you…so as an example, why do you overeat at night? Well, ask yourself how was your day? Was it stressful? Are you overtired? Your body may simply be having you stand in front of the cupboard or fridge eating all the wrong foods to turn off your ANS (Autonomic Nervous System) and turn on your PSN (Parasympathetic Nervous System). This allows the body to move into rest and digest mode. In other words your body is taking care of you.
It is my belief that while we can access the deeper parts of ourselves to know what to eat, we also need to create a fluid movement of our emotions and keep them as clean as we keep our food. If you are scratching your head now and wondering what I am talking about it…think about the last time you overate. Then think about what was happening when you did. Were you excited, scared, bored? The list of ‘feelings’ are long, yet when we are not mindfully eating, we very often don’t eat what our body needs. The trick is to learn how to serve your body in a higher way. To change your brain, your gut and free your emotions! And guess what? The peace that you have been looking for will sneak in and find you unaware. The best part? You will not only have the ability to access that peace at any time, you will find your health and your weight at it’s optimum!
